In May 2018 I was brought in by Hawthorn for a very different kind of project. As part of Adobe Summit 2018, Hawthorn created a 30 foot high slide for guests to slide down with two cameras to capture them as they traveled down the slide. I was asked to find a way of capturing the video from the cameras and composite them into one file with an overlay included too.
Utilising the power of Isadora, I was able to create a system that would capture the cameras feeds and create these video files, putting them into a folder external to the Isadora server for guests to then select and upload them to social media, or send them via email.
